Camping clearly outstayed the opposition when the 7yr-old led for most of the way in the hands of Samantha Wynne and won by a length and three quarters. Camping is now unbeaten at Wingatui with his other win, a 2200m maiden in June. He is trained at Balcairn by Ashley Frye for her mother, Kay Young, Peter and Carole Lotz.
